PITT pastel pencils from faber-castell have extra thick wax-free pastel leads of 4.3mm diameter and drawings need to be fixed afterwards. Available in 60 bright colours they are highly pigmented and have an unsurpassed degree of light-fastness and do not change colour appreciably when fixed. The wood-cased PITT pastel pencils are clean to handle and can be blended by using a paper wiper colour shaper brush or finger. These pencils should only be sharpened with a sharp knife.
